Picture yourself


Yikes how quick are the weeks flying by!  Lots happening in a very short period of time - class today - hurrah! craft fair on Sunday (Swansea Waterfront Museum) and then a big craft day demo next weekend - oooh can't wait.  More pacific point loveliness today and using the gorgeous frame stamp from forever young  as the background along with the boy silhouette from the same set.

It's my party!


It's my pool party! and more embossing samples for class.  It's crazy busy here at the mo, I have my first craft fair of the season on Sunday at the Waterfront Museum in Swansea (10 - 4).  I don't know if I have ever mentioned that before every new season I take inventory of what I have and spruce it up, I also treat myself to a new cloth and this year I have decided to add some bunting.  I obviously haven't made it yet lol! but I will and if I remember will take some pics from the day.

Read between the lines


I have been working on a few projects lately that involve dry embossing, a technique that we will be looking closely at in my class on Friday.  I wanted to show the ladies that they can achieve appealing results with using very simple tools, along with some very intricate ones too.

Friday I'm in love


Huzzah! it's Friday - my weekend starts today and as the little one is off I may forgo my inky pleasures and see whats on around town that we can escape to, maybe the park and then chips from the chippy - yum!  A super quick card today again with the gorgeous sale.a.bration fresh vintage stamps.

Howdy and welcome, a simple masculine number today made with NEW STASH!  is there not a sweeter phrase to shout out.  The gorgeous (set of 2) designer frames embossing folders.  I love their simplicity and detail.

Congratulations!


Hello everybody (don't mean to sound like Dr Nick from the Simpsons) and how did your weekend go?  We went for a very bracing walk on the sea front with a game of try and catch my son without falling down in the dunes lol!  Lucky for me we ended up in the library cafe with hot soup, angel cake and hot chocolate - it was delish.

What you got cooking


Morning!  I'm going to jump right in with my card today.  This card is destined for hubby, I should explain that he does a LOT of the cooking in our place (you have previously seen his strawberry sponge here) and I wanted to send him a little note to show our appreciation - he really does us proud with his tom yum (?sp) noodles, tarkha dahl, lasagna, carrot cake and fragrant rice to name but a few of his classic dishes.

Oooh are you well? hope if you are snowed in somewhere (secretly wishing I was too) you are snug and warm.  Back today with my projects from Saturday's big shot class - we had a hoot and ladies loved their projects which were a matching card and mini sewing kit.

Chilly down

Natural woman


Mmmmm I am very much in love with Stampin' Up!s natural ivory card stock at the mo, it is a great weight and has a vintage aged feel to it and looks great for male cards too.  Combining it with one of my favourite things - creating your own backgrounds with stamped images - I love the simplicity and speed of it.
