Pick a pocket

Indeed I would pick this pocket and happily open it up and get comfy inside it for a while, it's so pretty.  Now before you run screaming weirdo!!!! I think most crafters would admit to have strange and wonderful feelings about paper, ribbon and such lol!

This I have happily produced for the current "hip to be square" challenge over at a passion for papertrey.  I  apologise too for the slightly out of focus pics over the last few posts.  It seems that blogger wont let me change the size of my original clear pics without making it slightly blurry ??! answers on a postcard please :D

Take care and have a great day x

Monday, Monday!

Morning! hope you are well.  You know what, I completely forgot to let you know (again) about the In Love With Stamping pub quiz night (which was last Saturday) doh! sorry.  Another roaring success and heaps of fun.  In my defence my life is still slightly crazy busy with my Mum, extra long shifts at work and life lol!Something a bit different from me with the ol' colour combo but it is so delicious in real life (melon mambo, so saffron and basic grey from Stampin' Up!) and a super quick one to make too.

Thank you to all of those who wished me well (bloggers and non bloggers alike)at my inaugural paper crafting classes that begun on Friday and will continue on the last Friday of every month hopefully forever! It was a real crafty boost to the system - what fun and frolics were had.  All the ladies were amazing - thank you and see you next month (*wink*).

Have a great day & see you soon xx

Mint condition

Morning and are you paying attention class? How do you get  from that (above) to this (below) in a few magical steps hee hee! It was my turn to post a tutorial over at In Love With Stamping for the design team and I had been thinking about the things we either threw away or recycle. I had a few of the little mint tins empty in my "big bag" and so started the old grey matter twitching with what could be done with them.

As you can see this is what I came up with, a sweet mini trinket box or needle case (which is what I made mine for as I am always misplacing mine). Pop over to ILWS in the tutorial section and find step by step photos and measurements to make yours :D

Have a great day everyone and please let me know if you have a go as I would love to come visit and see your lovely creations.

Two pints of larger and a packets of crisps

Morning :D Today's card was one I made for the lovely Dawn who was a recent winner of the inaugural In Love With Stamping pub quiz night!! a week or so ago. What fun I had being the quiz-master and I know the ladies had a great time too. I will be doing it again on the last Saturday of this month (25th Sep) if you would like to join in - it's a bit of general knowledge and a few crafty questions thrown in for good measure too and a little prize for the winner :D I will be entering it over at a passion for papertrey who has dots as the theme.

Have a great day & see you soon xx

You could hear a pin drop

Hello again and fancy seeing you here :D Oh gawd I nearly forgot to post last night! I think that little break made me forget - doh! A little removable pin magic again for you, they have been so popular with my family I am planning them as Christmas gifts.

Awh can see the sweet pea stitched felt flowers I've used (*Sniff*) they are retiring and so is the chocolate chip 1 1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon (see retired list on my side bar for full list). But whay hey! do not despair for too long as they are making way for SO MUCH MORE in the new catty which is certainly much bigger & better I can't tell you ;D

Any one who places an order with me this month will automatically get their hands on the new catty on the 1st of October - yippeee!! Grab yourself a bargain over at the retired list and give me a shout here with your order and I will reserve your free 2010/2011 Stampin' Up! idea book and catalogue :D

Have a great weekend and see you Monday x

When I came home on a Tuesday night

Before you say it, NO I have not been recovering all this time from my recent night out lol! I am no THAT much of a lush :D Wow I can't believe how much I have done since we spoke last. Craft fairs, parties, monster truck rallies, picnics on the beech, school uniform measuring and trying on (how much does my six year old that ha!) and many heady days at the river trying to skim stones (miserably on my part). Gosh it does it feel good to be so warm and tired that you find yourself falling asleep with a smile on your face - great days.

Anyhoo you are back in the room! and today we kick start back with a design team card over at In Love with Stamping and this one uses a groovy sketch. Lots of bling and pins for you too, mmm can you see the matching glitter - now how many places can you get your glitter to match your card stock, ink and ribbon etc - well you know that's why I love Stampin' Up! Talking of SU! we as demos would have the very first sneak peak of the upcoming new idea book and catalogue last night launching on the 1st October - to say it's like Christmas Eve for crafters is an understatement - oh lucky me :D Promise to share it with you all when I can.

Nice to be back - have a fab day x
